Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music starting with classical (baroque, classical, romantic, modern). Classical Indian, middle eastern, classic rock, alternative rock, folk, reggae , ska, punk, jazz, drum and bass, psytrance and ambient chillout. Not enough room to list my favorite producers/artists or composers from each genre. I love most if not all of the great works of Western and Eastern literature. Sci-fi and fantasy. For movies I love European movies and independent films. A few favorites are: The Double life of Veronique by Krzysztof Kieslowski, Earth by Deepa Meetha, They Live by John Carpenter,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was home schooled for about 7 years of elementary school. I went to community college with only a G.E.D. and got into Columbia University. I learned to read music on my own and began to study classical guitar. I survived a head-on car accident where I went through a windshield and no broken bones. I managed and maintained a natural plant habitat garden in Port Washington New York.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English and some music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook and prepare all kinds of foods. I can clean, wash dishes, take care of animals, children or elderly people. I am handy around the house. I can help with English if needed.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Germany, Jamaica, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Saint Lucia
