CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
Well, we're laid back, of course. We live in Melbourne. We spent all of 09 and some of '10 traveling and are now attempting to stay in one place. We're not from Melbourne originally and only got here in June last year. Nick is an Architect and into design and beautiful things, I'm (Karly) a Public health research assistant and I'm into love peace and community. We've now added Jude to our little family. He loves Thomas the Tank engine, frogs and being an independent toddler :) Jude loves meeting new people, he is friendly & a born couchsurfer! We have since added Anna to the mix as well. Sadly she hasn't been couchsurfing yet, but she loves people so I am sure it won't be long until she does :) her interests include eating crayons and pulling her brothers hair.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy life, be peaceful, live long and well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We've hosted people in our home town in Australia and totally loved it... And we experienced the other side and surfing. Its just great meeting people from around the globe. Its a little crazy how similar we all are... but the differences are fascinating! Now we're hosting in Melbourne!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Finally finishing uni was amazing for both of us! Travelled for a year, lived in a foreign country... All good. Travelled for 2 months with our toddler (Jude) through Europe. Travelling with kids is amazing and highly recommended! People are 100x friendlier when you have a cheeky smiling child in tow :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Nick loves to cook... We'd both love to learn other languages (cos we're ignorant mono linguists :) but we really suck... I know some Farsi now- well I know how to say "I don't speak Farsi"...
