ABOUT ME

In short, I'm tall. And this is usually the first thing people use to tell me when they meet me for the first time. I still haven't found any good answer for the infinite number of questions like. "What did you do to grow like this?" or "How's the air up there?" But I'm a consequent seeker and one day, I'm sure, I will find a good answer for you :-)

PHILOSOPHY

my personal philosophy is a total chaos of a lot of thoughts and clever phrases. But those who meet my personal philosophy at the closest are:

"In life it is not necessarily important to be strong... but to feel strong."

"Give me the bravery to change the things that I can change.
Give me the tranquility to endure the things that I cannot change.
And give me the wisdom to discern the one and the other."

Last but not least the most important advice:
"Carpe diem!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to participate in this project because I am amazed by the revolutionary idea of it. Couchsurfing erazes borders... of budgets and cultural closets. CS opens it all up, and gives me the responsibility to be careful with the friendships and the homes of those who would host me. For the people who open their doors for me I open up my mind, and I will open up the doors of my home for all of those who think so too, as soon as I'm home...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I signed up becuase a friend told me about CS and I think its a great idea... the experiences and the friendships that will never get out of my mind and my heart have already left a deep impression on me... As soon as I am back in Germany I will try give back all the warm hospitality I found...

Interests

I'm very interested in... life! in the first place.
Further things I like are,
volleyball, dancing, football, reading, exploring, trekking, and playin the guitar unless I still got to practise a lot.

generally I'm culturally veeeery open minded... and like rather enjoying than judging it...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing I could have been doing is to set up and train a girls volleyball team at the primary school in Urubamba. Finally only a few days before I left we won a important match against a rival team from the capital of the Province Urubamba. The happiness and the pride in these girl's eyes, all daughters of farmers, gave me a feeling of serene happiness that I rarely felt in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

My best qualities are languages. I speak german, french, english and spanish at a high level, and a little portuguese. If somebody is interested in practising one of these languages - amazing!!! If there is no use at all for all these things I could still show you how to flip pancakes and how to spin toothpicks on your nose...

But I will be happily willing to help you at anything else I can do...
