About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Re Opening,
ABOUT ME
I don´t think I can express many of me in a few lines in english. When I´m in Buenos Aires I work teaching History in the Public University where I'm also making my PhD. Right now I'm in Europe for the first time trying to know a complete different way of live and behave, having a lot of fun and knowing wonderful people in every town.
PHILOSOPHY
I don´t know if I have one (Groucho Marx used to say: “Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.”). I´m a follower of E. Husserl who develop the idea that the sense of our acts are like to put a string when we look to the past but really hard to perceive that when we are acting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right Now I´m trying to get into this proyect. I expect that back in Bs. As. have the chance to know oldest members involved and add my effort to show the travelers what Buenos Aires can give.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have meet very fun people in Berlin, and in Paris. I hope to host somebody soon, so if you want it ask me to.
Interests
I really like literature (Argentinian specially). I enjoy old films (my favorite director is Alfred Hitchcock) but also news ones (I go to the cinema as often as I can). I appreciate silence and have respect for it. Love my profession but in some times is good to stop the thinking. I believe that I have sense of humor (a dark one) but maybe is more accurate if somebody else confirm that.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now I´m hearing a lot of tango because when I write to my family gets me in the mood. But I really enjoy Jazz, and classical rock. Also like cuban music and I always open to hear something new. In this travell I only bring study books that I have to read but my personal favorite author is Roberto Arlt, who lives in Bs. As. during the 1930 and make impressive descriptions of his time. In movies I like suspense films, but also documentary's and I really like italian neo-realism. Some argentinian films are great I specially recomend http://www.cinehumus.com.ar/
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I´m amaze with social events in this trip. Yesterday I was impressed with the palestinian manifestation near to the congress in Berlin. And today I see a little boy trowing a German flag into a cemetery.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my knowledge about Argentinian history and literature. My personal library is available for those who respects books as I do but I hope they could find some interesting text in there. I always want to know about the little things of a different culture, country or city. I have a particular interest for the gastronomic art and my kitchen is open for the travelers who want to share their skills and I can make the same thing (but I´m a vegetarian and my dishes don´t have any meat).
