About Me
CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
Curious. About human behaviour. About economics. About history. About why crack dealers still live with their mum. (reference?) About les chevaliers de l'an mil au lac de paladru. About you, but only if you walk like a crab. About wine tasting and the impact on pleasure stimulation in the brain. About electronic music.
Long life to nevrosis and unstoppable thinking
can we laugh about anything? Still not sure about the answer, if you want to debate and/or laugh, turn three times over yourself, like a toupie. I'll understand.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't worry.
Be happy.
Tum tum tum tum.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: The Wind That Shakes the Barley , Manderlay, Mulholland Drive, Cuisine et Dépendance, un air de famille, le Péril Jeune, Mar Adentro, The 25th Hour, American History X...
Books: Les bienveillantes, l'Identité (Milan Kundera), la Chute (Camus), A long road to freedom (Nelson Mandela), Krugman's books (well, that's for the econ-lover crazy addict part)... Love reading.
Music: Un peu de tout. George Clinton and the Parliament, Renaud, Fela Kuti, La Rue Ketanou, Les Ogres de Barback, Sargento Garcia, Jean Leloup, David Bowie, The Doors, The Who, Caravan Palace, Los Fabulosos Cadillac, Molotov...
Started in Montreal to listen to MUCH MORE electronic music and really appreciate, don't know as much as I would like to yet but really interested in knowing more. Up to now liking (for the little I know) electro, "electro funky break" (euh...), fidget, dubstep, till hartek harcore drum n bass whatever.
Would like to know more about jazz too, and starting classical music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Done: being woken up asleep on a bank by the police in the middle of the night in Mexico, still drunk and not knowing how I arrived there (that was my birthday night...). And to manage to negociate with the police so that they did not arrest me (they are pretty quick to do that usually...).
Seen: in Mexico again, my friend Charlie coming back with my backpack with my passeport inside. I had forgotten the backpack in the morning in a cab. He was walking completly somewhere else in the city, had a look inside a cab stopped at the traffic light totally by chance, RECOGNIZED (!!!) my backpack inside, stopped the cab and got back the bag with the passeport...
More seriously, having taught how to read to prisoners in Benin where we had no common language (and obiously textbooks were not in theirs, to make things easier)
Seen: a funeral praying night in a small small small village in Colombia (the trick is the guys I met told me we were going to a party and we were completly drunk arrinving there. The party was actually a funeral. I can tell you I got sober again at once).
