About Me

CURRENT MISSION

generalized reciprocity and meeting all the souls in this world driven to travel

ABOUT ME

I am a silly soul, who loves wit with a touch of love and humor...but let's be for serious...

As I am studying in France, I am slightly obsessed with learning the french language. It's an on-going process that causes woe and heartache...no! I loooove french and I want to continue speaking it throughout my life! I'm also an Anthropology major and studying cultures is interesting, but experiencing them is so much more fulfilling. Tourist stuff is fun, but the things I remember the most is just hanging out with people who live in the city. And I tend to ask a lot of questions about living in a city because it really just amazes me how people live differently EVERYWHERE...if i ask too many questions, just tell me to go bake some cookies, and ALL will be well :)

Dance. Dance. I like to take dance classes, but just for fun I assure you. I'm no professional, but I've tried Tahitian, Belly dancing, and West African classes before. And I started flamenco this semester!!

I also thoroughly enjoy backpacking and hiking. There's just something about that great outdoors that calms the spirit. Dramatic, but true.

Brief, I'm down to meet new people. Preferably YOU!

PHILOSOPHY

Generalized reciprocity keeps the world spinning

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed with AMAZING people in Lyon, Lisbon, Madrid, and Brussels. And I even hosted someone for the first time here in Bordeaux!! But I won't be able to host again until I move into my apartment in LA this summer...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Dear Couchsurfing,
you have changed my life. I just started this year and was amazed by the generosity of people willing to share a part of their lives with complete strangers. And the more I traveled, the more I realized that I loved the city because I loved the people. Even if I didn't surf a couch, but just grabbed a drink with someone from the community, it made the trip 10 times better. SO, here's to you couchsurfing. And to the generous community who are committed to you. Je t'adore.
