About Me

All??? It's gonna bit a bit hard... Let's just say open-minded and willing to discover and learn something every day.

I try to always find the good things about what happens and try to get rid of what doesn't make me happy (as long as it's possible).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I try to make the visitors' stay as good as possible! So they could have an excellent trip in the "ardent city" and tell other people that Liège is worth being visited, even if it's not in the top 3 of belgian destinations in the tourist guides!
For those who are interested as well in the human discovery than in the historical discoveries (which we have as well, of course, have you ever wondered what was the Principauté de Liège? ;-) ).

Interests

tango, languages, people, cinema, music, having a walk in nature, good drink with good people, partying, having a nap in my hamaca in the sun,...

Music, Movies, and Books

Ouf... So many things!!!! And my interests may vary, so really it's a hard stuff to tell...

Movies : pffff, too much to tell!! Midnight movies, parodies, L'âge d'or de Buñuel et Dali, Bernie, Labyrinth, Kusturica, The man with the camera (with the music of the Cinematic orquestra), Twin Peaks, Freaks, La vida loca, .........

Music : very eclectic, I'd like to say "everything except what has "core" or "noise" in the name" :-) Tango (I dance it), bossa nova, latin music, flamenco, others that I wouldn't like to categorize (Aphex twin, Heliocentrists, Wax Tailor, Ratatat)...

Books : A Confederacy of Dunces, Wilt, Gabriel García Márquez, Les liaisons dangereuses, La casa de los espíritus (Isabel Allende), Boris Vian's "L'arrache-coeur", Maupassant (short stories, the best in French!, and "Bel ami"), Kundera, Como agua para chocolate, Nathalie Sarraute's "Planetarium", Moravia's "Him and me", Geluck's "Le chat", Frankin's "Les idées noires"......

So difficult to answer this question, really! A lot of different things

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing is a very relative word. Above all it's about sensations for me, witch is a very subjective matter

Teach, Learn, Share

French and Spanish "professional" teacher.

As I dance tango, anyone who can teach me something in this area is VERY welcome!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My flat, and I have two bicycles, so I can lend one.

What I DO NOT SHARE :
- romance (CS IS NOT a site to pick up girls!!!)
- nor a free couch. The spirit is to share : I share my flat with you (and may invite you to dinner, and to have breakfast, and to have a shower, and to wash your clothes), but in return I do expect a little something because I do pay for these things. You may pay me a beer or whatever you want to, but I will not spend money for you if you don't spend some for me. In the end, the money we each put in it should be equal!

I do not accept people who don't even bother to read my profile and copy/paste the same message to everyone. Because these people doesn't seem to me like they understood what it's about (once again, it's not about having a free couch).

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guyana, Italy, Latvia, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
