ABOUT ME

It is difficult to describe myself... I'd say I am a pretty decent guy who is into music, sports, procrastination, politics, sociology, walking around new places and meeting different people. However, other times I like to be alone and happily oblivious to what is happening in the world. I like to go on comical tangents and weave inane narratives with good company. And obviously I love travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and allow myself to be hosted. Was hosted throughout my travels and have opened my doors and unfolded my futon to the world. (NOTE: futon has now been upgraded to a bed).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I initially CS'ed in Hungary and hung out with CSers in Serbia. Met great people and hoped to do it again. Then I hosted people in my hometown, and had a magnificent time! Also met great people CSing across Europe again and US. Hosted more people since my return home. So far, all has been great.

Interests

I like reading just about any topic and try to know a little something about everything. But most importantly FOOTBALL ('soccer'), lots and lots of football. Lots. Play/watch/talk about...I don't think you understand how much I love football...I won't start. I like being surrounded by good music, and I occasionally play the guitar. Being in the company of nice, partially intelligent and humorous people is also a delight. However, eating Kinder Bueno chocolate bars is the best and I'll add Reece's peanut butter cups to that list.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against The Machine, Naughty by Nature, CCR, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Doors, Buckley, Hendrix, Massive Attack, Faithless, Chill-Out and a shit-tonne more. With films, stupid comedies are the go. Nature Documentaries! I enjoy most genres of film. Shows like The Office (anything Ricky Gervais), Black Books, Bill Bailey, QI, Always Sunny in Philly, Arrested Development. Futurama and The Simpsons has influenced my life more than anything...Me like read these peoples: Wilde, Orwell, Palahniuk, Easton-Ellis, Hitchens, Dawkins and any other schmo who can grab my attention.

A platypus - seen. And the last decade has been quite impressive. But this is more for sharing in person.

I can make you appreciate almost every single meal you have had in your life by cooking for you. My specialty is "contemporary mid 20s male cooking".
