ABOUT ME
I'm approaching 30 and still too occupied and busy to meet his friends. When we hang out, though, we always have a good time, have a nice day or evening. I'm also inclined to prioritize my friends' problems above mines - so, from a point of view, I can say I'm a little altruistic :)
I am a little tech geek, always open for something new to learn or somebody new to meet.
I can be anal about a few things, and not notice it - it is up to you to remind me that life is not about being grumpy. I can also be a little too easy going. In general, I am a mr. good guy, and find something to respect in almost everybody.
PHILOSOPHY
Short version:
-The food that does not contain meat must contain sugar or alcohol. Else its barely edible! (j/k!)
Long version:
- I am also fine with mushrooms instead of meat - to a certain extent. =P
- I am a huge Euro critic (not skeptic) while being a huge supporter of integration. Getting to know more people, travel freely, make every place you visit your home - this is the way to go for Europe in my opinion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I formerly offered a bed in Rouen - sadly, only one inquiry was made :( Now I live with my wife, with a free room available after the renovation.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The best yet was in Israel. Maybe the most recent is always the best!
Interests
I love photography, nature, doing sports, crafting any(!) kind of stuff, mending some mechanical or electrical gadget, cooking and consuming great foods, drinking good wines and spending time in good company :)
While I liketo be seem as a lesser polyhistor, I fail miserably in drawing and graphics :(

Music, Movies, and Books
~~~ Movies ~~~
Yes:
Forrest Gump (!), Red, Red2, Stardust (I know I know), Les Maîtres du temps, old hungarian cartoon movies (serously good ones), Asterix and Obelix (definitely not with French audio), Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, the rest of my IMDB watchlist
No:
The Book Thief, Looper, some mistakes on my IMDB watchlist...
Definitely No:
Twilight
~~~ Books ~~~
Yes:
La Mort est mon Métier, The Name of the Rose, LotR - The Silmarillion - The Hobbit, The Death of Ivan Ilyich
Most definitely NO:
Dostoevsky: Crime and Punishment - it was a punishment for me
~~~ Music ~~~
Yes:
I live with my fiancée. So basically everything she listens...
On a more serious note: Heavily depends on the mood, but pretty much everything: rock, blues, rock+instrumental, classical (Dvorak, Liszt, Beethoven etc.), artificial (Hang; drum on the bottom of paint buckets; Teremin), with a hint of Gnarls Barkley, Cee Lo Green and Pharrell Williams
No:
Probably monotonous DnB
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not nearly enough of them... but:
I've got plenty of those stories that when I tell you, you're gonna laugh until your tears will fall. I've spent a horrible night in Paris, got chased by Moroccan locals, had awesome time in Switzerland, had a bath in ice cold waters in the Carpathians, got some scars doing silly things... =] Aaah, and Petra, Masada...
Teach, Learn, Share
Good (preferably red and sec) wine, mushroom stew (vegetarian people rejoice!) with garlic and green spices, gnocchi, in good company.
