To see as much of the world as we can, to be inspired, grow a little (closer, wiser, bigger??!!) To make friends all over the world and have an amazing time doing it.

ABOUT ME

My fiancee, Sam, and I are both from Sydney, Australia but are currently living in London. We plan to leave London soon to travel Canada, The States and Europe...and who knows where else?? Then going back to Sydney at the end of the year (well it will have been 2 years since we left by then... time to get back to reality I suppose!!!)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I look forward to meeting a lot of different people through the CS2 programme during the next 12mths while Sam and I are travelling. Whether it's to stay with you, share a drink with you or pick your brain for information about your travels/ home country I really look forward to the experience. Then when we move back home we hope to return the favour for anyone travelling to Australia!

Music, Movies, and Books

Very very eclectic tastes but movie wise I have to mention Love Actually (actually anything with Hugh and Colin!!), A League of Their Own, As Good as it Gets, Little Miss Sunshine and Labyrinth. Also love all of Ricky Gervais stuff (MASSIVE FAN OF 'THE OFFICE' AND 'EXTRAS'), The Mighty Boosh, Flight of the Conchords etc. Tunes at the moment: Scouting for Girls, Katy Perry, Mika. Tunes forever: Blink 182, The Whitlams, Edith Piaf and anything from the 80's!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing with 6 day old lion cubs in Sth Africa and walking with 2 yr old lions in the wild. Also, had our car broken into by a baboon as we stood 2m away!! Plitvice National Park in Croatia is absolutely stunning, the water looks as though someone has photos shopped the colour- so blue!!! Oktoberfest in Munich for a completely different reason to what you would think!!! Oh and riding an Ostrich!!! (obviously not at Oktoberfest!!)
