ABOUT ME

What I do determines who I am and who I am determines what I do so here is what I do and who I am:

I work in a restaurant/bar and I am studying a bachelor of arts degree this year, majoring in Linguistics and I am not sure what else I will be studying (photography/engineering/really not sure); I am also doing some ESL tutoring outside of university. My life has been changing a lot and seems to be changing more which I enjoy thoroughly . I like to go rock climbing but I need to get some money for gear and more training. I read when I can about all sorts of stuff. I like being seriously silly where ever possible. I am always up for a good conversation.

I like the unusual stuff usually, its unusual for me to dislike something because it is not usual.

I often find the amount of interests I have are like too much toast and I am the too little butter to be spread over said toast. That said I would rather have too much toast then too much butter, probably healthier that way anyway.

I believe in minimal expectations and attachments and maximum connection and these beliefs are quite conflicting but make my life happier none the less.

If you like music, wine, coffee, food, art, literature, philosophy, photography, interesting conversation and open mindedness you will most likely have at least one thing in common with me.

Broad taste in music, best to just ask you will have some artist/genre in common with me.

I like movies that make you think, are beautiful or true, or completely out there; the original Aeon Flux series, zombie films, the matrix, waking life, paprika, house of 1000 corpses.

Authors I like: haruki Murakami, Feodor dostoyevsky, Peter Singer, Homer, Philip K. Dick, Huxley, Ken Kesey, David Mack and Oscar wilde. I want to start reading poetry.

I want to learn more! I am happy to share what I know, I can play a few instruments, although I am a bit rusty, I can get the "learning ball" rolling. I am doing some ESL training so I can help people learning English.
