About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Starting off with my tea business
ABOUT ME
I finished uni back in 2013, since then I'm working as a freelance translator as well as trading with Chinese tea and Danish furniture. Grown up here in the North, close to Hamburg, now after studying in Würzburg and Beijing back in my home village of Hoisdorf, 20 km out of town, 40 from the medieval town of Lübeck.
I love travelling since I was a kid, have seen a lot of Europe since, but besides China, a bit of Australia and this year a bit of the US I haven't seen too much of the outside world so far.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i always love to know people everywhere, its completely different to come to a place where you know somebody - it makes you so much less a tourist but a traveller.
At the moment I live a bit off the regular tourist tracks in my grandparents' old house out in the villages - but therefor always have a free room and love to have some more people around, so whenever you need a space to stay and I am here, you are more then welcome!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I still don't have "a lot" of couchsurfing experience, have been travelling a lot, but not too often used it yet, a few times already had people staying with me in my old flatshare in Würzburg and stayed at some people's places for example travelling around England and in Switzerland. But I hope I can use it a lot more in the the future!

music:
i mostly into indie music from indierock over britpop, singer/songwriter-stuff, recently into quite a lot of electronic music, but also other things like some hip hop, some reggae, some jazz, some funk/soul...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i have experienced a lot of very very different people with the most different opinions, livestyles, philosophies and cultures, from the faroe islands to australia, from swedish lapland to estonia, ireland to china, within china from the megacities of the east coast to small tibetan villages, and always was impressed how friendly in their very own way people everywhere can be though they are completely different in their situation, lifestyle and cultural background.
Teach, Learn, Share
i'm always looking for people speaking chinese, who can help me with learning it, in return could help for example with german or english...
