ABOUT ME

Highly creative, very inspirational, totally positive, curiouse, aware and present, a bit wild but calm inside, loves to move and be moved and making a positive difference. I love beauty...in places and people.

Born Swedish, but spent about 12 years in other countries, mainly Australia and Mauritius. I currently work as a photographer and travel writer www.artbyami.com

Before that I used to work as a spa manager at top end tropical resorts, and as a make up artist in cities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Regardless if you stay on my couch or I on yours;

I have a lot to share, can be very inspirational and insightful, at the same time as I love to listen and learn from you.
I adapt easily...if you want to be left alone....no problem, if you want to spend time together...great!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

not yet....well, I have crashed on a few sofas and had people stay at my place, however not through this community

Dance; apart from Ami freestyle I dance Salsa and Bachata and am just starting to learn Lindy Hop as well.
Anything creative; painting, photography, sculpting, cooking, design, architecture...
Health and Wellbeing; alternative therapies, spa's, meditation, yoga...
The Ocean/Water; sailing, diving, snorkelilng, climbing waterfalls...
Travelling; learning about and meeting people from different cultures, religions, walks of life, being in untouched nature, experiencing new things, food, sports...and learning more about who I am

Very broad and varied; at the moment I listen to French, Brazilian, Cabo Verdean, Angolan, Cuban, Caribbian, Mauritian and Moroccan music....mixed in with a bit of Jazz and modern mellow tunes...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

There's a lot; from Indiana Jones style adventures to deep spiritual insights/experiences. Have slept in Egyptian cotton in top end hotels, on dirt floors with goats and everything in between. I have lived in the rainforest, on boats and in citys. Had many close encounters with local wildlife (wherever I go), have experienced many proffessions and lived in many countries. My father is an inventor, an original genius and lot of my friends are as crazy as I am....
In other words....I have stories to tell around a campfire.
