Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My hosting experience started before I had even surfed myself. Being a fanatic traveller living in Amsterdam, hosting just came naturally. I hosted the majority of the people during the time I was living together with my cousin in a small appartment. It was a little hard to cope with a daily 20+ request but we tried to accomodate as many as we could. We had people over almost every single day. An amazing time that was!

I popped my own couchsurfing cherry in Indonesia. Being accomodated by such warm and hospitable people made me feel right at home. The people I met along the way formed the red line of my 6 month trip in Indonesia. It was truly one of my best experiences.

Interests

Surf, Snowboarding, oceans, climbing and traveling.

My current interest is in (marine) ecosystems and next year i will start my Masters in Oceanography.

Obviously traveling has been a big part of my life. I just enjoy the freedom and not knowing where you're going to end up the next day.
