ABOUT ME
I just finished my undergraduate degree and now I'm ready to explore and relax and eat lots of exotic foods. I love hearing peoples' stories and learning about other cultures.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to find a connection or common ground with everyone/thing I come across and then I live from a place of love, loving all that I see, and appreciating the unique beauty in everything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I am new to this project. When I have a home again I plan to offer my couch to travelers. I am happy to share a good time with a like-minded person or two.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mostly my experience has been surfing my friends' couches and that has been a positive thing. I am excited to meet people through their couches though and I will report back with stories.
Interests
Exploring, reading, talking to new people, trying to learn new languages, nonviolence, bicycles, forests, oceans, singing, hiking, drinking, laughing...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2010 I opened a bicycle shop in a refugee camp in Haiti as a form of disaster relief (trained 12 Haitians in bicycle mechanics). It was a truly humbling experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to share bicycle maintenance tips. Also I'm happy to tutor people in English or writing. I'm trying to learn Spanish and French.
