About Me

I studied the cinema at the Sorbonne-Nouvelle before working in the hotel industry. Being fed up with it I decided to start my own food-truck and have been cooking for 6 years with an associate. I like big cities, where there's always something open, often interesting exhibit (i'm really fond of visual and conceptual art). I love cooking, eating in restaurants, go for a drink, watch movies... I'm also a very cynical and sarcastic person, but surprinsingly laid back when traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I remember older times when it was free, and I hosted and travelled a lot with couchsurfing. I met tons of interesting people with whom I am still in contact, some I also consider as friends. I can't host anymore since I moved to Normandy near Rouen but I am still up to hang around and I shall see soon if the couchsurfing spirit still lives on as I will travel during august in the USA by myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

About movies, i like a lot of directors, for exemple : Steven Spielberg, Gus Van Sant, Coppola (father and daughter), Quentin Tarantino, the Nolan brothers, M. Night Shyamalan, and a lot more that I can't think about right now. And for music, it's Fun, Lily Allen, Damien Rice, Rufus Wainwright, Cat Power, Radiohead, CocoRosie, Local Natives...and of course oldies like Otis Redding, Nina Simone...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had a great memorable trip in Italy with a friend of mine. Hardcore but gave us lots of goods memories. Hardcore because we just had a ticket to go, nowhere to sleep planned, no transportation. But still we've been from Bergamo to Firenze, seeing the Lake of Como, Milano, Pavia, Bologna and a lot of cities and road, including some places we didn't even know exactly where we were...

And did I mention the time when I drove from Paris to Rome with my scooter and my ferret in my shirt?...

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to cook with other people, play games, listen to music and talk.
