After leaving Los Angeles, our home of three years - our mission is to travel our way to a new one!

ABOUT ME

A wanderer, currently home and job less - married to a guy who was also ready to quit everything, give away all our stuff and hit the road in search of a new life. We're currently in South America!

Before this I worked in an elementary school in Los Angeles while Mike was head of post production at Vice LA.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still discovering it. Travelling is very important, its strange sometimes how people can live their whole lives without leaving their country, it forces you to open your eyes to the rest of the world and other ways of thinking - however far you go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got hooked on couch surfing while doing a year of my degree at the University of California and traveling around America. I had some incredible experiences and met so many great people but eventually had to head back to the UK to complete my degree and get a job. I now turn to the fantastic couchsurfing community whenever I'm back on the road and have enjoyed it many times over the years.

Interests

I'm currently learning French... and how to count cards in Blackjack! I love graphic map drawing and making my own postcards of places I travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I experienced (and survived) a huge typhoon in Hong Kong from a 14th floor apartment when I was 9 - pretty traumatic.

I also starred in a Bollywood film while travelling in India which was fantastic. It's a small role- but you can see me!

I was lucky enough to get some tickets to watch the final dress rehearsal of the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics - an absolutely incredible experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty interested in all the world's religions and philosophies and I could happily talk to you about that for hours, not that I'm an expert by any means, but very interested!

I can also teach you how to solve a Rubiks Cube! Well, most of it anyway, I always get stuck towards the end..
