ABOUT ME

I am aged 34, so is Christoph. Christoph ist studying law and works as a copywriter for an advertising agency. I used to work in the same field, but am currently only working a little from home and taking care for our little daughter Paula.

2009/2010 we went on a 14 month long trip around the world on our bicycles. During this time we cycled from Austria to Italy, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Vietnam, Laos, Zhailand, NZ, USA, Canada, Netherlands, Germany and finally Austria again, covering over 25.000km.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had a number of couch surfers at our place since we went online in January 2009. Only positive experiences – see more at their/our references!
But also before couchsurfing was "invented", we made great experiences with helpful people on my trips. We found it really amazing how friendly and helpful people were. Some helped us finding the way, others invited us for BBQ, others even spontanously hosted us.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Christoph, once, during his civilian service at the Red Cross, helped giving birth to a baby – in the ambulance vehicle. I guess he will never forget that.

Speaking about myself, I think the most amazing thing I have done so far is growing up. I started some decades ago 50cm in size and not speaking a word. Now I am an adult…
