ABOUT ME

hmmm... where do i begin? i believe the best way to get to know someone is through experience and moments...so drop me an email or come crash on my couch or let me crash on yours and you will learn all about me...
but in the meantime, here goes... i was born on the 16th of october 1985 at 16h01 in johannesburg, south africa. i have hungarian blood but am first generation south african!

im some form of a hippie obsessed with life and the unknown. im delicate and a day dreamer. i am a well travelled child and one of my biggest passions in life is learning about other ways of life and people. my mission is to get as many cool memories before i settle down. no regrets after 30 you know.

i worry about the world too much and will probably end up fighting for green peace one day. i have a soft spot for buskers. poppies and daisies are my favourite flowers. im a perfectionist and slightly obsessive compulsive. the colours red, orange, yellow, pink and green will always be present around me - either one or all at once. music makes my life shiny and happy. it talks to me and i can't live without it.

i have a passion for community service. i love hugs, squashing my toes into mud and walking in the rain. i love my family and friends and my boyfriend who is undoubtedly my soulmate. without them i wouldn't be half the person i am.

i love dancing and art. and taking lots of photos - black & white are the best. i love meeting new people. i am fascinated by humanity and our actions and emotions - we are so fraglie and yet so crazy.

i enjoy the simple things in life! i have an old soul and modern things make me feel uncomfortable but they are interesting. sometimes i think im too free-spirited for this world. i love laughing until i cry and i think life is too short to be sad all the time. i love africa and india and the east! and of course there's more but im tired of typing and talking about myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a newbie to couchsurfing - heard about it in a hostel in NYC...but it definitely seems like my thing. i work in hospitality...i love working with people and learning people...so hosting people at my home and going abroad to stay with others is A plus in my books.

Interests

i love golf and hence the driving range, mad about books and reading, big daydreamer, love writing, mad about spending time with my friends. love collecting interior design magazines. love going to theatre and art galleries. i listen to MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC like all the time, love meeting people. mad about my family and the extended one and my greatest achiement at the moment - lady of leisure and lone traveller... :)

Books:
all! i love reading. but one of my all time favourites is the posionwood bible by barbara kingsolver - just brilliant. also shantaram. and im addicted to coffee table books - pictures books, comics, interior decor, pop culture. oh and im addicted to post secret!! what an amazing idea and emotionally riveting stuff!

I have my degree in BA Marketing and Communications.
I am fully trained in hospitality and running hotels.

I want to be a photographer. I want to cook better. i wanna draw or paint...just do art again. i want to learn french and hungarian. i want to play guitar.
