ABOUT ME

I'm a Colombian living in France. I work as photographer and web designer. I've been in France for 8 years and in Paris for more than a year. I still have many things to discover in this city. Apart of photography I´m also very interested in cinema, contemporary art and most parts of visual arts.

I love to travel and I've been lucky as I have visited different and amazing places!

PHILOSOPHY

Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi. All it´s a matter of luck!

Music, Movies, and Books

All the list above dates from long time ago. I've been seeing, reading and listening a lot of great stuff. Let's say that this is a starting point of the things I like but there's always great things to mention

MOVIES:
A lot to mention!
I´ll start with one of my favorite directors: Wong Kar-Wai. From Chungking Express, In the mood for love to 2046, all masterpieces. After him I can mention Lars Von Trier (Dogville, Manderlay, The Idiots), Adolfo Aristarain (Lugares Comunes, Roma), Emir Kusturica (Underground, Life Is a Miracle), Wim Wnders (Paris Texas, The Sky Above Berlin)....
I´m missing a lot of movies and directors! Cinema is just something that I´ll never stop to love...

MUSIC:
Life would be meaningless without music! I have more music in my laptop than any other stuff. From Classic Rock, Progressive Metal, Alternative, Electronic, Jazz and Tango to Vocal, Word and Classical music.
Koop, Bliss, Orishas, Gotan Project, Carlos Libedinsky, Buena Vista Social Club, Pink Floyd, Queen, Bach, Massive Attack, Portishead, Propellerheads........ the list is endless!

BOOKS:
There are also a bunch of great books that I like but I´m just going to mention my favorite book, Rayuela of Julio Cortazar.... you won´t regret to read it and get lost between his pages and stories. Someone can easily fall in love about Paris by reading this book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

mmmm what about this one..... manage to visit China for FREE during 3 weeks while playing Bridge in a competition. Sounds weird, isn´t it? ;)

My country (Colombia) has also a lot of amazing and incredible places that I had the oportunity to visit!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are in the mood for languages I can teach you or help you practice your Spanish, Italian, English and French.

Apart for that I'm a film lover so I can maybe introduce you some interesting movies depending on what kind of movies you love.
