ABOUT ME

here are the basics (the rest would take a while:D)

my name is alex,
I grew up between Hamburg Germany, Singapore and Australia.

Having moved around a lot I've always loved to travel to different countries, cultures and meet new people.

Since finishing school in Brisbane I enjoyed the student life for a couple of years and then decided to quit and explore a little...

Spent a year raising money for the Wilderness Society of Australia (environmental NGO).

So I've lived in a van and helped make a documentary for the better part of a year.
Longboarded all around Australia with some crazy people.
Enjoyed some great festivals with good friends and have now been back in Germany for 2 years, started making Ballon Art and performing with balloons.

I lived in Berlin for about 2 years - I wouldn't mind another couple of years in that city - and have now made it back to Hamburg.

PHILOSOPHY

I have already hosted heaps of couch surfers and surfed a few myself before I heard about this site. I think it's a great concept and am happy it's so internationally connected through this site.
