ABOUT ME

We (Chad and Shanna) have been enjoying the rewarding exhaustion that comes from being new first time parents. Our little girl Everly has become the center of our world and we hope to nurture her enough that soon enough we can venture out into this great world with her

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are always up to help out our fellow surfers and show them the inns and outs of Milwaukee, but we are going to take a brief hiatus from hosting while our little girl settles in to planet earth

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We put up a post on craigslist saying we were looking for a new adventure and asked if anyone had some suggestions. Lucky for us, an avid couchsurfer came across our post and introduced us to this great community. Since then we have hosted some amazing people and had such great experiences. We hope to do more surfing in the future. For now we are happy to host some good hearted fun loving travlers.

Chad- Live Music, cycling, Hiking, Backpacking, Skiing, Kayaking, Reading, Learning, Telling Stories, Meeting People, Exploring, Walking, Photography, Nature, Life and huge trees

Shanna- cycling, yoga, nutrition, cross country skiing, exploring, the local farmers' market, the Zoo, making ice cream, going to the museum, and of course, hanging out with Chad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing under giant sequoia trees, getting married in Yosemite Valley, Climbing to the top of Half Dome watching ships pass through the Panama Canal, flying in a hot air ballon over Cappadocia, holding our little girl for the first time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, we've become pretty good at making smoothies which if you are not familiar with them are a beverage that usually consists of organic fruits and vegetables. Chad can teach you some basic karate moves
