About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Lanzarote!

ABOUT ME

Erich Fromm said once "We know ourselves, and yet even with all the efforts we may make, we do not know ourselves. We know our fellow man, and yet we do not know him, because we are not a thing, and our fellow man is not a thing". That makes writing about yourself, as an object, a complex mission, seen the fact that you are the subjet writing about yourself. We are not like scientists, who are able to discribe objectively the object that they are studying. I got to know myself through my exchanges with other people. Though I consider myself a part of a new bohemian generation of people who love to travel the world, live in a certain city or region and get to know its costums, culture and people. Having lived in the South of Spain for two year I experienced the feeling of being part of a city without only being a tourist, a passenger. People describe myself as an open minded, perceptive person because i love meeting new people and seeing different places. Currently, my mission is working in short film festival projects and travel arround.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is a small town. Meet, experience, share, live. And don't admit to conformism.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having lived in different places for short periods, i didn't had the time to host people yet. Mainly i surfed people's couches the last two years. Although, I promote Couchsurfing to my friends and family as one the most real travel experiences a man can have in their life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the summer of 2009 i experienced for the first time of my life the spirit of CouchSurfing before starting my Erasmus in Granada. I got conviced that CouchSurfing can connect lots of interesting and talented people. It's a way of life and it's about giving and sharing. In my latest trip through Portugal I had the best CS experience, being hosted by two brothers and their sister. Felt like begin part of a family!

Teach, Learn, Share

"What does one person give to another? He gives of himself, of the most precious he has, he gives of his life. This does no necessarily mean that he sacrifices his life for the other - but that he gives him of that which is alive in him; he gives him of his joy, of his interest, of his understanding, of his knowledge, of his humor, of his sadness - of all expressions and manifestations of that which is alive in him. In thus giving of his life, he enriches the other person, he enhances the other's sense of aliveness by enhancing his own aliveness." Erich Fromm
