About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently backpacking across Central America & Mexico until August 2010
ABOUT ME
I have fun doing just about anything whether it's the great outdoors, bar-hopping, live music, just chilling drinking some beers or traveling the world when I get vacation from work. I am trying to squeeze as much out of life as I can, it's a grand adventure and I'm trying to enjoy every minute of it!
I'm looking forward to meeting and hosting many interesting people through Couch Surfing and expanding my knowledge of other cultures.
PHILOSOPHY
I am not afraid to live my life to the fullest. I meet a lot of interesting people because I am open to new experiences.
I believe that most people are basically good and that kindness can change lives. I try to see the best in people and encourage people in their dreams and goals and be a supportive and nurturing friend.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate in the local Denver CS events (which are wonderfully regular), I also host visitors when I'm available and try to help organize events in the local community. I have made a ton of quality local friends through this site. Gracias Couch Surfing!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've traveled quite a bit and met many friendly people in other countries, but tended to stay in hostels or campgrounds rather than with locals, can't wait to try Couch Surfing on my next trip! Definitely hosted my fair share of guests in my lifetime, especially when I lived downtown, had some crazy weeks long parties. Looking forward to hosting more when my situation improves.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music I'm into everything! I used to really be into the punk/ska scene here in Denver, but lately I listen to a lot of world and latin music, I also like hip-hop, classical music, rock n' roll, etc.
Movies, anything by Tim Burton or Guillermo Del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy), I tend to like comedies best and then fantasy/sci fi and some action-adventure flicks. I don't do horror, I get nightmares, but I like suspense and good stories.
Books I mostly read sci-fi/fantasy, but I like anything with a good story and some non-fiction as well. I try to read at least 2 books a month.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Southern Europe......The small towns in Mexico where I was welcomed as family.....Every beautiful soul I encounter while traveling or meeting new people.....Too many to list!
One that stands out is StingRay city in the Cayman Islands. They take you out on a boat and let you get off on a sandbar where the water is only about waist deep or so. There thousands and thousands of giant sting rays gather and swim all around you and you can feed them and they like to touch people and swim with them. It was pretty amazing and I highly recommend it if you're in the area!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am volunteering currently to teach adults English as a second language here in Denver and would love to learn and practice more of my Spanish skills with others as well as get some tips from ESL teachers as I am new to this. I can teach people a lot about Denver as I have lived here for a long time and I love this city! I'm open to learn all kinds of things!
