I'd much rather stay or hang out with locals than in a hotel, to really get the taste of a place. I also look forward to hosting people of a similar inclination when my living situation allows it.

My favorite music is music which draws you in with its human feeling. That can be Jazz, Rock, Afro-Cuban, Flamenco, Brazilian, Funk, Folk, through-composed classical....the genre is not important to me. Good is good! That being said, some of my all time favorite records are John Coltrane - A Love Supreme; Sonny Rollins - Live at the Village Vanguard; Led Zeppelin - I, II, III and IV; Erroll Garner - Concert By The Sea; Jimi Hendrix - Live at Berkeley; Tabala Wolof - Sufi Drumming of Senegal; and many more!

I love to be taken into another world in a story, and also to be enlightened and provoked with regard to our own world.
