ABOUT ME

who am i? This question always makes me pause (perhaps because i am constantly trying to part with "I", and perhaps because i have no idea how to even begin to answer). Unfortunately, you cannot explain who your are in the same way that you cannot bite your own teeth or smell your own nose: you cannot explain the explainer or know the knower. Ah ha, but now we have something! Of course we do: all somethings come from nothings, and nothing is really quite a beautiful something.

PHILOSOPHY

All is Change. Everything is One. As above, so below. Go with the flow. Love what you hate. Never take life seriously - it's just a game. Reality is founded on illusion. Done is what had to be done. Mystical truth, like a well cut diamond, has many points of view: all of them are accurate. Our waking state of consciousness is just one of many levels in an infinitely wide spectrum. We are much more than we currently know.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just now blossoming into a global wanderer, and would love more than anything to help people along their respective paths: to share compassion, perspective, and hospitality with all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only recently managed to fly the nest and begin life's journeys in the technicolor soundscapes of reality, and subsequently, my experience is minimal if at all existent. I've spent many nights on floors and couches with the utmost respect and delight. I feel honored and privileged to acquire any level of kindness and hospitality. I am friend to all, the foe, the friendless.

Interests

Everything and anything. (tea, vegetables, and fruit make my world spin) My deepest passion is sound and its many incarnations. I believe in the experimentation of art in every manifestation and believe that all of art is worthy of thought and contemplation. I strive to stay mindful, open, and laughing: always bringing my consciousness to new realms and densities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Stanley Kubrick, Chris Cunningham, Charlie Kaufman, the Coen Brothers, Michel Gaundry, Gus Vant Sant, Spike Jonze, Norman McLaren, and many other brilliant film makers. To list musicians would be ridiculously tedious, so i will just say that i'm passionate about experimentation, jazz, orchestrations, electronics, prog, field recordings, sound art, and noise. Books are also difficult to list, so i will say just say yes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rediscovering the powers of imagination and magic. Whether it be to other cultures, other planets, other universes, other frequencies, or other dimensions: thinking is the best way to travel.

Teach, Learn, Share

The atom, just like the universe, is composed of mostly empty space, and in between are patterns of structured energy in a magnificent variety of ways. An apple tree 'apples,' and in the same way, the earth 'peoples.' We are not made: we are grown. Evolution presupposes involution. The human body is a microcosm of the macrocosm. Our brain has the ability to tune into a vast network of frequencies. Everything and every being is interconnected and interdependent.
