ABOUT ME

One thing you should know: I'm an English teacher, which means I love stories.

I've surfed several times in the states and have had excellent experiences meeting new people and hearing their stories. I love to travel and have lived in lots of different types of places. Born in California, raised in rural Kansas, moved to Denver, educated in Boulder, and now living in Memphis, TN. I lived in Miami, Florida for several summers while in school and love to visit. I've roadtripped all over the country (Colorado to Florida, Denver to LA, Memphis to Vancouver) in my sweet Toyota Corolla, Pierre, and am looking forward to when I bring my dog on some adventures!

I love music and will travel distances to experience moments of incredible musicianship.

I am a huge proponent of cheap travel as I believe it forces you to face yourself and others in a unique way. That being said, I am a working professional who works 50-60 hours on a light week. It is very difficult for me to accommodate you same day or a day ahead of time. As a teacher, I value planning ahead of time. Please do not send me a request for same-day stay, especially during the week. Other than emergencies, very few people travel to Memphis on a complete whim. Plan ahead!
