About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To seize the moment and appreciate every day.

ABOUT ME

Hi All, We have enjoyed couchsurfing hosting and surfing, immensely. We've been told several times that our accommodations are "5 Star", so we're moving into the next phase of couchsurfing life: www.airbnb.com

We are green home builders and designers and live in a straw bale home we designed and built ourselves. We live here to enjoy hiking, running, mt. biking, etc. in the hills and mountains. We enjoy good food, good weather, wild lands, and being outside as much as we can.

PHILOSOPHY

To live well every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sadly, We experienced theft from our home from couch surfers. They took 2 bottles of very good and aged wine that I've had for years from the Napa Valley. No more Parisians!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've stayed in New Jersey with a great host, Ray, but that is it so far. We've had countless CSers in our home.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love non-fiction right now - but it changes. Just read Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA. Like Thomas Friedman...Sh*t My Dad Says was hilarious.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to Israel to work as volunteers with Sar-El on a military base. We assembled infant gas mask kits and were able to see much of Israel.

Saw Hindu cremation ceermony in Bali, Indonesia.

Teach, Learn, Share

My Spanish sucks, but I've been too lazy to practice.

Countries I’ve Visited

Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
