About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Doing Urban Agriculture in Brooklyn...to keep bees on a roof this summer and make my own mead from the honey!

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty adventuresome; a really curious person... A busy-body, aspiring to have a still mind. I grew up in the south of the US -Virginia and NC, and if I had to describe myself with a season/region, it would probably be late summer in that area.

I want to have my own biodynamic farm back home someday, but currently I'm focused on urban farming, food justice, and learning spanish in Brooklyn, NY.

I'm a good listener, strive to make people feel comfortable, to have an open mind, and look forward to what I can learn through spontaneity.

I don't smoke, and I will take care to be respectful of your couch/home/lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well - I'm new at this! I'm currently taking a bike trip with my best bud - Aislinn Farren - from Oxford Mississippi to New Orleans. It's a 400 mile in 10 day trip. Several friends recommended couch surfing as a wonderful way of seeing new places and interesting people - in your own town and theirs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet -- but looking forward to hosting people come May, and looking forward to (hopefully) staying with some surfers down South (USA) for a bike trip I'm starting on the 15th of March.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A dead whale floating into shore with a trail of oil leading out to sea while I was on a catamaran, sailing in Northern France. It's eye was open, and the it's side was raw from the sun. It was strangely beautiful.
