About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finish a phD work

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a tiny little town(former german) in western Poland called Korfantow, I was born in Lodz, where I am completing mu PhD thesis and playing music. I live in Wroclaw. It is a great fun for me to go around non touristic areas in touristic cities. I've travelled also to Cameroon. I rather prefer "culture-like" travelling than to climb mountains or explore the jungle ;) Now I've got a law degree, but instead of being a lawayer I prefer to become a scholar (legal and political philosopher). I also play improvised music with bands Dzwiek-bud and Hybrida Conclusio (earlier: Purga and Suture Navigator)

I think I'm happy to have many friends, I enjoy rather to talk to people face to face than facebook to facebook. Pubs and bars ussualy go well. I also love my family, I have strong realtionships with relatives.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, I'm a professional bachelor of philosophy (second studies), my philosophy is a mixture of personalism and kantism. What does it meen in practice? You shall probably see ;) Human should be treated as human, moral person, not the subject of social engineering or merely biological creature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

surfing and hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted twice with Monika, by Hungarian couple and Serbian scienist. I was very surprised how natural and great experience it is to meet a total stranger and transform it into friendship. Once we hosted german film artists ;)

Interests

I am keen on few things - philosophy, music, literature, architecture... I should probably care more about architecture of my body too - I mean going to gym or something. But it is hard for me to get into sport ;) The only exceptions are bike (from time to time) and ski (well - just few days a year...)

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to be devoted to Polish contemporary poetry. Now started to explore novels. Philosophy is always on my desk too. Music? Folk, symphonic music, bands like Radiohead, or King Crimson are probably my beloved, however I listen to vast expanse on music never being real expert of some part.

Teach, Learn, Share

When you are in Poland avoid drinking popular kinds of beer - it is pricy and unhealthy. It's better to ask a local about local beers ;).
