About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Paint the target with the pink spray paint.

ABOUT ME

I am a college student, though not for much longer. I like to get out and meet new people and consider myself pretty outgoing. I am a writer, aspiring spoken word artist, and yoga teacher. I love helping people help themselves and nothing is better to me than an afternoon swim in the river on a hot Texas summer day.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you will, but harm none.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just started this thing, but was introduced to some couchsurfers before I everknew what this really was. Right now I am just testing the waters and seeing what this is all about before I go full out and start letting people stay. I have no problem being a tour guide for the time being though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Limited to say the least. I have never hosted nor have I ever stayed on anyones couch...yet. I am just figuring everything out, but I hear great things from my friends who are also a part of the project.

Interests

Yoga, performance art, poetry, and languages. I love good Texas barbeque and a cold beer on a hot night. I love things that are harmonious, but seem like contradicitons.

Music, Movies, and Books

let's just say - a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have climbed the pyramids at Tulum, seen the catacombs in Paris, and had a beer in the oldest restaurant in the world, where I met a man who looked ominously like Ernest Hemingway and was thus permitted to sit in the special table they still have reserved for him...should he ever return from the dead and need a beer. I have stood on the steps of the Spanish Parliment in Madrid where democracy almost fell after 40 years of dictatorship. I have touched the Code of Hammurabi and sung for change with friends when I was in 17 in Oxford, England. I have more to tell, but only so much time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make Spanish tortilla in an hour flat. If you want to install a sink or some other kind of household item, I am great to have around. I teach yoga and do classes by donation at the park in my town. I am glad to give lessons to anyone who wants to learn.
