CURRENT MISSION
Working hard or hardly working
ABOUT ME
I am a liberal 34 year old. I love travelling (obviously!), and tend to go alone so I can meet more people. I'm more of an early bird than a night owl. However, I hate Monday mornings. I'm really into history, and can be a bit of a nerd sometimes.
I've lived in plenty of cities and countries, and, at the moment, I live and work in Riga and am happy to show you the sights, as well as hosting you in my living room.
PHILOSOPHY
'Live and let live'

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite Music- Eurovision, cheesy pop, anything I can run to
Favourite films- Pan's Labyrinth, Mars Attacks
Favourite books- Master and Margarita, the Onion's "Our Dumb World"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen Lake Baikal whilst on the Trans-Siberian, then stopped off, and went swimming in it... it's cold...
I also performed as part of a theatre troupe at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2005. Love the city, and the electric atmosphere at that festival.
I walked on water... (well on frozen water, across the river running through Riga)
I have lived through the biggest economic crisis in world history!
I created my own business exporting furniture to far-flung corners of the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach visitors here 'tram face', as well as some basic Latvian and Russian phrases necessary for daily life. I will share my Marmite with any of my guests.
I've recently got into Urban Exploration, since moving to Latvia so if anybody fancies exploring some abandoned factories/buildings while here, count me in :)(I personally recommend a trip to http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=824056)
