ABOUT ME

I grew up on a farm and am the middle child in a large family. Conversations around the table, or anywhere else for that matter, were always lively! Thus, I am always ready to share a conversations with someone. Learning from people and their experiences is always rewarding, if not entertaining :)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is not about me. My challenge is to love others, and serve them. Even though I fail, with each new day, there is an opportunity to try again.

There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under heaven. Thus, a time to work and a time to play. One must not neglect either.

Interests

I enjoy learning about culture, language, music, art, religion, history, travel, politics, and the list goes on...which is why I am traveling - there are so many people to meet, places to visit, and things to see!

I find cooking and baking relaxing activites, so I hope to learn about different kinds of good and perhaps take home some new recipes. I would be willing to share some of my own with you too!

The market atmosphere is pretty unique. It is fun to walk around, take in the sights, watch the people, and check out the goods.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is wonderful...it is whatever you desire it to be. A little Jack Johnson for easy listening, a Celtic jig to get the blood moving, or maybe a feast of Bach is what the ears desire.
"Pride and Predjudice" is one of my favorite films. I enjoy reading and nosing around in bookstores, libraries, and flea markets.
