I'm from the north east but have been living in New Orleans for the past 5 years. I love food, culture, nightlife, and adventure, all of which New Orleans does pretty well. Did I mention food?

I've lived in several states and spent several years overseas in Europe and Africa. One thing I've come to learn is that there are amazing people everywhere.

If I'm hosting, I love to spend time with my guests and show them around the city, take them out to eat some of the great food that New Orleans is known for, and experience some of the night life. I'm not interested in being an uninvolved host, so I only try to accept guests when I have an open schedule! Likewise, when being hosted, I enjoy seeing what the locals do, eat, see, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Pretty simple I guess; the opportunity to meet great people, share experiences, and learn a little something new as much as possible.

Interests

Skiing in the winter and biking in the summer. Traveling and meeting new people. Good food, good drinks, and great people! Anything new and exciting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Kenya for 3 months to develop an efficient wood burning stove and traveled to many villages to field test its performance. Renting motorcycles and riding through the country side near Kilimanjaro, around Nairobi, and the coast of Mombasa have to be once of the most amazing things I've ever done.
