ABOUT ME

I am a Polish-American. I can't seem to settle down anywhere for too long, as I always itch to travel as soon as I've been in one place for more than a few months. I seem to always be looking forward to the next trip. When I don't have another excursion in my sights, I simply get depressed.

Amber is my wife (partner, travel companion, best friend, co-surfer..?) She is a veterinarian specializing in horse medicine. She and I are both passionate about exploring this world of ours...

We've just started. So far we offer our couch to fellow surfers... In the future we'd be interested in holding meetings and volunteering.

books:
I have read everything from Hemingway, Abbey, and most of Steinbeck. I am very passionate about some French authors, like Camus, Anre Gide, Saint-Exupery, Zola. I've also enjoyed the Russians, like Dostoevsky and Chekhov.

music:
I don't even know where to start. The Knife, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Gang Gang Dance, Django Reinhardt, Woody Guthrie, 60s/70s Polish Jazz (Stanko, Milian, Nahorny), Wilco, Yo La Tengo, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Pan American, Miles Davis, Mercury Rev, Grateful Dead,.. and so many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stepping off the ferry in Morocco after crossing the Straight of Gibralter. Hiking in the mountains of Colorado and seeing two bear cubs scurry up the trees nearby. Riding in an autorickshaw in Pune and passing an elephant.
