ABOUT ME
Free spirit..loving life...living in Dresden, Germany! I have a BA in English and American Studies from California. My loves are piano, writing, reading, drawing, and traveling. I have more of an artsy personality... spontaneous, romantic, and energetic...and channel my passions into everything I do. I love traveling and moved to Germany in May 2007 to learn German. I liked it so much that I have stayed and am now teaching English here. I love being in nature, so Dresden is the perfect place for me to live. :)
PHILOSOPHY
"Rise free from care before the dawn and seek adventures." -Thoreau
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I moved to Dresden in September, and learned about couch surfing through my flatmate. We have had fantastic visitors and love having company at our place! :) When I move back to the US, I'd be happy to host there as well!
Interests
running, writing, hiking, traveling, vegan cooking, football games on the beach (oh, sunny California!), debating with my wonderful flatmate :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most inspirational moment: meditating in the Grand Canyon during a sunset. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach English and would love to re-learn Spanish (though half my family is from Mexico!)
according to my flatmate, it wouldn't be bad if I picked up a few more cooking skills, though I love cooking anyway ;)
I have a guitar that I do not know how to play...
