About Me

ABOUT ME

I like learning languages, riding my bike, hiking, drawing, and sitting by rivers. I also enjoy a drink and a good chat! I like to take my boat out to the swamps, crack open a cold beer, and watch alligators and other wildlife.

PHILOSOPHY

I take my time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Traveling is all about the people you meet. I want to learn from you, and I love showing people my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted several times in the US, France, Germany, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Every experience has been great. Lookin' forward to doing it again..and again...and again... I've also hosted a bunch, and it's always been fun! Just a wonderful way to travel.

Interests

foreign languages, human physiology, bicycles, the great outdoors, backcountry camping, fishing, attempting to play guitar & piano, cajun dancing, good beer, fine cheeses, dark humor, dreams (the kind you have when you're sleeping)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hitchhiked all the way from Tours, France to Barcelona with one truck driver

At work I freeze people so they don’t have brain damage after a cardiac arrest. It actually works, y’all!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach ya some Cajun French, and how to two-step! I can take ya fishing too, or out on a swamp tour in my canoe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I almost always travel with my canoe—we can take it out on the water!

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Mexico, Spain, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, United States
