ABOUT ME

I used to live in London then left to South Africa and travelled to Kenya overland, then went back to London and then got bored there and got a one way flight to bangkok. I then got swept up in Vietnam for a few years before moving to Bangkok but I am now back in Hanoi temporarily. I love this part of the world and love meeting people from all over. I hope to travel more, having just spent 3 months in Tibet, Nepal and a bit of China. I'm now back in Hanoi and just quit my job and studying so although I have no couch I am free to meet for beers and tell you about this lovely city.

PHILOSOPHY

I couch surfed in Taipei and have met lots of people through meeting up for beers etc

play the saxophone, meeting new people, attempting to speak vietnamese, travelling as much as I can, getting around on my faithful mellow yellow motobike.

I love arabian, spanish, african, trance, buddhist music... anything chilled and beautiful to listen to. Favourite book is Shantaran, favourite film is shaw shank redemption or cool runnings...

I saw the gorillas in Uganda, Camped at Everest Base Camp, spent a week with a nomadic tribe in Namibia, lived for 6 months in the bush in Africa and ate buffalo penis in Hanoi.....
