ABOUT ME

I have just finished travelling in Australia with my main focus being wwoofing on organic farms and visiting many eco-villages. I am now on my way back home!

I was previously living in Tamil Nadu, South India in an eco-community called Sadhana Forest for the last 15 months. This was near Pondicherry and Auroville. We were working on reforestation and aiming to re-establish an area of 70 acres of Tropical Dry Evergreen Forest, whlist maintaining a low-impact,sustainable lifestyle.

My absolute passion is ecology and nature, and to be involved in this kind of work is the only thing that feels natural for me to be doing. But I also love working with people! I have met so many truly wonderful people recently that I have opened my mind to beyond just trees and birds, to see the real beauty in people too. We are one and the same after all.

PHILOSOPHY

Walk through the forests of life, being in that moment, absorbing all that is around you, being aware of all that you sense, greeting warmly all who you meet, while treading with as light a footprint as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I adore couchsurfing as a way of meeting people from all over the world. It opens my mind more with each experience. I am really keen to get to know people from other cultures and see some beautiful corners of the planet from the perspective of those who live there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Russia, Kazakhstan, India, Sri Lanka, Australia and Turkey so far. Each experience was unique and truly wonderful. I have made friends for life and taken away priceless memories of beautiful times with them.
