ABOUT ME

We are a couple that has been married for a long time (5yrs). Between the both of us we have 4 children, 2 still living at home and also a cat that acts more like a dog.

Terry is the hard worker, he works with fiber optics but before that he has had to wear a whole lot of different hats. He is very laid back and funny. Knows a little bit about everything and is always looking for interesting conversations.

Blanca is a stay at home mom, she is always back and forth with the kids and has them very involved in school activities. She is funny and knows to say what she feels with out thinking about it twice. Her Spanish food is awesome, she makes a lot of typical plates form Puerto Rico.. ohhh. She was raised by her grandmother and makes a lot of the things from scratch.

PHILOSOPHY

The only thing that keeps me in this body, in this earth, are my kids.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

WOW.... first I have to say that our friend Tioti Artist from Key West was who introduced us to CS and the meaning behind it. We agree with him and here we are... We know all too well how expensive it is to do the things you want in life. We sure want to help, we have a couch and it's ready. But they also taught me that CS is not just about a free couch, it's about the people and what they have to offer you and what you have to offer them.

The only way I participate in CS is just opening my home to fellow surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We only hosted once and it was great, can't wait to do it again. We hosted two brothers from Germany, their knowledge about other places they have traveled to, was so vast, they just made Terry and I dream of one day after the kids move out, go and visit all these places. Can't wait, I don't do it now because is very hard to find host that take a family of five. I was able to host that many but now in this new home, I can only host 1 or 2 at a time depending on the situation. :(

Intereses

We like to camp out, boating, fishing oh yes, Terry is a roller coaster junkie and is looking for someone that could just go on and on with out even getting off. Blanca can only go twice after that she gets sick and the kids? they can not keep up with this adrenaline junkie.
