CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to be a guitar hero. I just spent the money I was suppoused to spend on a dining table and four chairs on a brand new guitar, which my musician big brother chose for me. Anyway I'm so happy I got!

ABOUT ME

I'm a music loving free spirit who loves to travel, meet new people and have fun. I believe that you can do anything as long as you set your mind to it. I work in the field of media and have to say that I have one of the coolest jobs and best co-workers in the world. I enjoy small things in life like going to see bands play, cook food with my friends, play the guitar and watch movies.

I have a big family, mum and dad and three brothers. Being the only girl in the family has made me tough. There's nothing that I can't handle. I'm a very happy person and love my life.

PHILOSOPHY

I live for music (I can't live without my guitar), friends and happy moments. There is nothing that you can't achieve in life and you're never to old to start something new. Every day is an opportunity, you just have to make the most of it. Believe in yourself and others will too!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS from a friend and had to check it out. I love meeting new people and would love to show people around Helsinki, Finland. At the moment I have a very small apartment, but there's always room for friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new with this and haven't had the chance to try it out yet. In April I'm going to Edinburgh and very much looking forward to meet cool people through CS.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading and do it alot. My favourite books are all the Harry Potter books. At the moment I'm reading Elizabeth Kostova's The Historian. It seems like a good book.

I love, love, love music and listen to lots of different bands. Among my favourites are Linkin Park, Metallica, Rob Thomas, The Goo Goo Dolls, Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon, The Script (who I just saw live, they're great by the way!), Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, The Killers and the list could go on forever.

I watch lots of movies. I recently saw Changeling, Revolutionary Road and Milk, which were all great movies. My new absolute favourite movie is Slumdog Millionaire, I loved evereything about it!
