About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Building the life we've always dreamed of.
ABOUT ME
I'm a nomadic soul who's settled down to build the resources necessary to bring my dream of living sustainably on land into reality. I've traveled around western Canada and the US a fair bit, and I love exploring new places, learning about different cultures and histories. I've only traveled briefly in Europe, and I'm very excited to explore it further! In particular I'm an ancient Roman history buff, so Italy is a strong draw for me. With an upcoming 3 week honeymoon planned there, I'm very excited!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because it's an excellent way to both travel inexpensively and meet locals at the same time. And as a host it's a great way to bring a little bit of the world to you. It's truly a win-win!
Interests
I'm a foodie, which to me means I'm open to anything of quality. I love local, and all things crafted with care.
I love learning about history. I'm definitely that guy at the tourist attraction historical site reading all the information boards, taking it all in. The older the historical site the better!
I love music, especially live! It crosses language barriers; everyone can speak body movement; dance.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Revolver, Braveheart, Fight Club, Alice in Wonderland, Guardians of the Galaxy, most Seth Rogen comedies,
Music: Indie rock, classic rock, metal, hip hop, electronic, world, modern, retro; if it's good then I can probably dig it. Good music, to me, is music made from passion, heart, emotion, balance and/or love; not from a mind on money.
Books: Eckhart Tolley - The Power of Now, Daniel Quinn - Ishmael, Hitchhikers Guide,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one thing? Burning Man. Never before had I seen so many different cultures existing in the same space so peacefully. It's a testament to how, when you look deeper than aesthetic differences, we are all related. We are all the same. One love.
