About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Follow my heart at all time no matter what the cost.

ABOUT ME

I would say I am somewhat adventurous. I enjoy trying new things and and experiencing life to the fullest that I can. My sister would say that I am spontaneous but I think that I have been less in the last few years as well as being less adventurous then I use to be. I would say that I am introverted but not shy.

PHILOSOPHY

Grow where you are planted. Where ever you are be there, live it, and experience it. Remain in the moment, allow life to move and breath, remember that being is more important than doing. Accepting challenges and facing fears.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is a great way to be hospitable and to share what I have with others. It also helps me learn and be open to people I would not otherwise have met.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not exactly the traveling part of couchsurfing, however, I did surf a couch during the Denver scavenger hunt. I would highly recommend it.

Interests

There are so many things in life to be interested in. A few of my key interests are karate, yoga, Pilate, phases of the moon, sushi, walking barefoot in grass, farmers markets, organic farming, hot meals, relaxing music, the piano, ice cream, and hiking. I love the arts, poetry, and trying new foods (I discovered a love for mangoes).

Music, Movies, and Books

"The Man who was Thursday" by G.K. Chesterton
"Severe Mercy" by Sheldon Van...
"The Little Prince", "The Giving Tree", "It's not about the Bike", "All Creatures Great and Small", "The Story of a Soul" "Walden",.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One incredible experience was living in a community/commune. I would recommend this to everyone as you learn so much about yourself and what it takes to truly be in community and then to see yourself as you are; which can be frightening.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belize, Canada, China, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
