About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To step foot into all the different cultures and backyards in Europe

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, open-minded, sometimes outgoing type of person. I can joke around a lot but still a serious person when it comes to morals and life. Since being put of this earth, I have studied at three schools (primary, secondary, and university) and have now ended up with a degree in IT with honors, what I do with this degree now is up to the gods. Since August 2008 I have stepped out of Australia and have been living, traveling, and studying in Germany, whilst enjoying the ease of reaching other countries&cultures in a matter of hours...Something you don't find in Australia. This has been one of the best experiences i have ever had and still having. People say I'm pretty funny and smile a lot.

PHILOSOPHY

I have philosophies about many things, too many to list here. About travelling...
Traveling and Meeting people I think is a good way to broaden one's knowledge, share experiences, and learn more about life and the people that are in it. We should make every effort to do what we want because apparently we only live once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Add to the community of hosts or visitors to share experiences, ideas, views, and cultures. And most of all enjoy the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed 3 times and hosted once in Australia (before I was even a member here). I've also enjoyed the company of a good group of CS's in Krakow at one of their meetings / bar nights.
All in all the experience has been great and well worth it.

Interests

I like to listen to Music a lot and dance when I'm in the mood, which is ussually up to the Music. Different people, cultures and parts of the World are what drive my traveling ambitions. I like to keep a good-balance in my life between having fun, doing nothing, and responsible stuff. Philosophy is always a good thought, I like festivals, concerts and drinking with mates a lot. Languages (speaking and learning) are one of my latest interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some favorite movies of mine are: Kill Bill, Pulp fiction, Lock Stock, Hitch Hikers Guide to the galaxy, Enter the dragon (always a fan of B-grade kung-fu movies), Scarface, Salvador, Berlin Calling, the Matrix,

At the moment I'm really into the Dance music, minimal techno and deep sounds, general techno and other electronic music is working well with me. Musical roots wise I listened to a lot of hip-hop, Rock, and later indie, experimental, Electro. I've always been a fan of Classics like the Beatles, Bob Dylan, The doors, Clapton and 70's.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snowboarding on a Glacier in Innsbruck, Austria.
Partying in Berlin.
Hiking near the alps north of Italy.
Seeing a Daft Punk open-air event live in Melbourne.
Seeing Underground salt-mines near Krakow, Poland.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm to teach... I can offer to help you make a sound out of a trumpet. Cook a steak on a BBQ, something about programming, and how to taste wine the Italian way. Maybe a little informal philosophy about languages

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In
