About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world, meet amazing people, have fun and be happy.

ABOUT ME

Hmmm well....what can I say? I'm 22 and just recently arrived back home in Oz, after about 5 months traveling (mostly alone) around Europe/North Africa - SUCH an amazing trip! Prior to that I just finished a dual degree in Creative Industries and PR ... so now would generally be the point where I should think "gee, guess it's about time to get a job huh"...but WRONG! Instead I am going to enjoy the status of 'unemployed bum' and wait for christmas to roll around, at which time I will head off on my next adventure - a round-Australia road trip with a couple of mates. Yay life!

Also, I am a terrible cook, have absolutely NO sense of direction, and am also quite the klutz. Exactly the kind of person who should not travel the world alone. haha.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't worry, be happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed on a bunch of couches while traveling round Europe this year...some through couchsurfing.com and some just randoms I met on the road :) All experiences were fab maybe one that was just plain weird but otherwise I've had a great time couchsurfing.

My friends in Brisvegas also host fairly often, so I'm used to partying it up with other CSers at home too

Interests

I love traveling (well duh), but everyone here will say that, so to be more specific, I love culture shock! The places I enjoy most are those that are the most different from my home, so I really love hanging out in the rural areas of developing countries like the orphanages I worked at in Kenya and Nepal. However this time round I'm heading to Europe so I guess I'll be seeking a culture shock of a different kind.

Also...
I love european cinema
I love live music
I love dancing
I love boozing
I love culture-shock!
I LOVE the beach (Aussie beaches are best, but any will do)
I love random adventures
I love to explore
I love summer
I love meeting new people and making new friends
I love playing dress-ups
I looove festivals
I love listening to everyone's funny ACCENTS! haha
I LOVE AFRICA!
I like body-painting
I like to write
I like being outdoors (and wish I were more often)
I like to wear pajamas during the day
and I don't really mind aeroplane food :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? Uuuuummm.... I guess going on safari in the Masai Mara was pretty darn amazing. I spent like an hour watching lions have sex. It's pretty hillarious. Especially when everyone in your safari group is singing all the Lion King songs in the background

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't really know what I can teach others...maybe the basics of fire-twirling? Oh and I know LOTS of great drinking games :D

But there are SO many things I'd like to learn! Like how to cook! How to dance salsa....how to play the guitar...how to do yoga/pilates...

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
