Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

surf and host like everybody i guess

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a lot of amazing people. I love to have the opportunity to get in contact with people all around the world. I just love couchsurfing!

Interests

I love to be outside, working in the garden in summer, go camping in the snow in wintertime, playing trumpet, share time with family and friends, working in the vineyards. Sounds boring, but I love doing handicrafts like stitching, knitting, sewing. And i loooove cooking and baking!
hm, what else? Music is a big thing in my life. I play trumpet in a really shitty bavarina folk band, where i just go to drink the wine which is always for free, but i also play in a symphonic orchestra. Oh, and I played for some time also in an orchestra in Turkmenistan. Nice experience! And i played drums in the coolest band on this planet. Was fun time!

Music, Movies, and Books

yes I like this stuff ._.
Some may think i have a really weird taste of music. i love traditional bavarian folk music an besides, i like all kinds of music which is done by heart. That can be nearly all kinds of music. I am not picky in genres but i am picky in matters of quality and creativity. mostly alternative and indie pop lets say.

for books: If you did not read any book of Annemarie Schwarzenbach, do it! I love her style! Besides i am into modern arabic literature and also fan of Thomas Mann and such...

Unfortunately I´m until now not that much into films, anyway films i have seen and i liked: The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, 00 Schneider, Ushpezim, Walt with Bashir, Tree of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling in general! Standing on the top of the highest mountain in Oman. Found love of my life and lost it (last part does not count as one of the most amazing things i experienced in life...) Snorkeling in Sinai. Listened to the call of the muezzin in the great umayyad mosque in Damascus. Holding my niece in my hands, just some hours after her birth.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to make the best pizza ever!
... how to knite a pair of socks
... how to do a "black forest cake"
... how to succeed in Tetris

What I Can Share with Hosts

sharing recepties, as i love cooking! And i can bring probably som wine :-)
