ABOUT ME

I'm basically the definition of a Floridian. I love the beach, warm weather, and kayaking. I've lived in Orlando my whole life, but I'm looking forward to seeing this beautiful world we live in. I love having Universal Studios in my back yard and it is a fun experience for travelers, but I want my couchsurfers to know that Universal and Disney is not all what Florida is about. The outdoors are amazing and with so many lakes and rivers close by, kayaking is one of my favorite things to do.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in experiencing life without judgement, having no envy or fear, and searching for optimism in every situation. There is no such thing as perfection , there is no ONE right answer to every question, and not knowing everything is peace for me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't surfed much yet, but I find cultural exchange very important, so I love hosting. I'm trying to make more time for CS events since I love living in Orlando and would enjoy exploring more of my own back yard as well as the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my favorite CS experiences was surfing in Medellin, Colombia. My brother who is an avid CS participant planned a get together at a salsa club in Medellin while I was visiting. The night ended and my brother was tired and since I wanted to stay out the couch surfers of Medellin opened there homes and I ended up having an amazing night with wonderful company.

I am blessed in this life, I can't name them all.- Hiking to Old Harry's Rocks in Southern England... looking off the cliff it feels like you are at the end of the world. - The sun setting on Lake Michigan takes your breath away- Salsa dancing in a old bar with no electricity, only candle light, with a band made up of boys from the streets in Medellin Colombia- Spending time with distant relatives in Germany- Surfing in Costa Rica- Celebrating San Juan in Nerja, Spain
