ABOUT ME

Originally from northern Michigan, I've recently moved to Champaign-Urbana to do a graduate program in psychology. So far I've been a little too busy with school to really get to know the area, but I figure I'll be here for long enough to explore! I'm a fairly easygoing person, especially if you're on time and keep your promises.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For starters, I studied abroad in Lausanne Switzerland for the better half of a year. I'd heard really positive things about CS before coming to Europe, and finally signed up hoping to meet some interesting people during my travels. So far it's been great!

Interests

I'm not the most coordinated person, which is why my favorite sport is running. If you know a good route, let me know! there's also Cross-country skiing, badminton, swimming, hiking, and just being outdoors.. cooking, drinking coffee, knitting, reading, relaxing with family and friends, and listening to/ playing music (piano and viola). I have recently started a mindfulness training course and am interested in deepening my meditation practice and getting involved in the Prairie Sangha here.
