ABOUT ME

My nick name is DJ, some call me deej.
Im articulate and love to try new things. i draw but not so often and read but even less as often as i draw. i love eggs, i love animals and i love people that come up with crazy, out of the blue ideas.
I'm game for a lot of things although sensibility speaks for itself.

im currently working in the arboriculture industry in kent learning to be a climber.

PHILOSOPHY

There is one purpose to life and one only: to bear witness to and understand as much as possible of the complexity of the world - its beauties, its mysteries, its riddles. The more you understand, the more you look, the greater is your enjoyment of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

host and surf. use to live on my own in a farm bungalow so was able to host heaps, but living back home now with the fokes is a little bit tricky.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have hosted fellow surfers from different nationalities and surfed a couple couches in southern england and new zealand. all incredible people and good experiences.

Interests

Loooove wildlife! plants and animals. i have a pet ferret, dog, and i breed birds.
i like to surf, cook and bake.
ive got a boat and other useful toys that do get used but not as often as intended
i find modern day self sufficiency interesting, aside from the usual preconceptions, my old car is keeping me busy with its problems one by one and so far they have been quite consistent. ive also just made some toothpaste and surf wax.
im VERY interested by people with musical talents and anthropology.

Movies... blades of glory, the fisher king, turner & hooch, sward in the stone, garden state.
