ABOUT ME

All about me..... well I don't have much space but I can say that I can be funny and serious (even if I prefer to enjoy things by laughing about them)! I like nature, and to walk in the moutains with my big dogs. I like local parties, where tradition comes up and surprises you all the time. I'm not religious even if I get in in every churches I see (is the historian in me..). I like to learn from other people experiences and stories. I really like my portuguese coffe with a good cigarette!

PHILOSOPHY

Personal Philosophy???!!! I wasn't expecting that... Well I can begin to say that I don't do to others what I don't like to do to me. I like to laugh with others persons, not laugh of them! I don't believe there's life after death so I hope to do everything and enjoy my life while I can do it! I believe that life without music and real friends can be really boring!

Well, I'm wealing to meet new people, and to be a part of their life experience, just as I want them to be a part of mine. It's going to be a pleasure for me to show a bit of Portugal, for I really love me country and I find it each time more beautiful. And I anxious to experience this couch thing, if you'll have a place for me...

Interests

I'm interested in historical places; being in touch with nature; having a nice chat about serious ou not that serious stuff; knowing local traditions, specially where they can be so different than mine; learning new baking recipes; music concerts; theather; history; cultural animation; cats (I love cats - it's such a clichè, I know)!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - I love Mario de Sá-Carneiro, he's a portuguese poet from the begining of the 20th century.
Music - I love the Doors, but I can hear every kind of music (I just don't understant trance music, sorry)
Movies - I don't know I have so manies. From spaguetti westerns to those big historical dramas. And I'm a girl so I like romantic films. Madison County's Bridges......

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't really say. Probably the most amazing thing I ever did was goig fishing with real fishermen from a real poor towm in the Azorres Islands. I was a hero cause I didn't throw up, and they became my heroes, cause I understood that is needed lots of courage to make a living in the seas.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I make a fabulous chocolat cake! And I can be a good company to go out, meet people, or just to have a nice chat. I'll be waiting for some new recipes, cause I like to impress my mother and my granmother with my gastronomic skills...
